Global Road Warrior
Through the generous donation of an HSU alumnus, the Library is now providing access to the database Global Road Warrior.
Global Road Warrior offers reliable, up-to-date information on countries around the world, including country facts, travel essentials, and extensive coverage of culture, history, and language. Articles are easily cited though the "Cite this Document" feature.
The publisher, World Trade Press, has been publishing country information since 1993.

Brain Booth area on 2nd floor
An area on the 2nd floor of the Library has been set up for the Brain Booth - an informal, experiential space to learn about the mind-body connection and optimize learning.  Studies have shown how important taking intentional brain breaks can have on students' academic success and now we have the space and tools to help with that.
In this space you will find FitDesks (exercise bikes with mounted desks allowing users to read or use a device while pedalling), books and DVDs of interest, meditation space, and areas to use equipment that can be borrowed from the Checkout desk.  Check out a biofeedback machine, virtual reality goggles, or light and sound therapy equipment to use in the Brain Booth area. Instructions are provided and people are encouraged to explore the area and contents.
Read more about the Brain Booth or contact Katia Karadjova for more information.
